Last few places remaining! I have organised a course on brachial plexus and nerve injury. It is aimed at those who have an interest in this field of surgery and is pitched at the FRCS/exit exam level and above. It is suitable for orthopaedic, plastic and hand surgery trainees and consultants with an interest in nerve injury. It has an international faculty covering everything from the basic science behind nerve injury and regeneration through to spinal cord re-implantation of nerve roots and novel molecules to improve nerve regrowth. There will be lectures on the timing optimal timing of surgical intervention, investigations and ‘how to do it’. Brachial plexus surgery, nerve transfers and free functioning muscle transfer will be covered.
The course is being kindly sponsored by Hospital Innovations (Axogen Avance nerve conduits), Severn Healthcare (venous coupler device) and Mercian Surgical (microsurgical instruments) who will have trade stands. We have a few places left (about 8 when I last checked), the course fee is £25 including all refreshments and lunch so good value! Anyone interested please contact Benita Patel on 0208 9095803 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
